“If we could look into each other’s hearts and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance and care.” These words were penned by the late Marvin J. Ashton, of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Great pearls of wisdom are within this sage advice as we travel the bumpy road of life. It seems much easier to judge another than to take kind and gentle moments to understand. Often, the most tender, loving hearts are hidden behind a camouflaged exterior and will require the healing ingredients of love and care. Let us embrace those healing balms as we look into another’s heart.
