Everything in life is better when we use both hands. We can be a more gentle people, take more care and cherish moments gently. For many years I have worked in the medical profession and in just every day communication with patients, I have noticed their hands. Whether I am exchanging paper work, shaking a hand or holding one, it says I understand and I care about them. I have often thought of, especially in our more elderly patients, how many tears were dried, how many babies were bathed, how many meals were prepared, how many foreheads were soothed when illness fell, and how many hands were held in prayer through times of trial and sadness. Our hands are the tools to teach and express love, charity, compassion and joy. May the years place their mark in magnificent ways upon yours.

Have a beautiful week!

Love,

Ann
