When we take the time to help instill hope in someone else, it is as if a soft light was turned on at dusk. We have unknowingly bestowed the greatest and most lasting gift of love. As we strive to see the soft light of hope glisten in our own lives, we can become the beacon to others in their quest.
As author Emily Dickinson penned years ago, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul, and sings the tune without the words and never stops as all.” I have come to know that hope is a beautiful thing and with faith as its constant companion, we will receive the answers that are waiting in our souls.
