Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I spent wonderful days with my son and daughter in Seattle inhaling it’s awesome beauty and serenity.   As we walked one day among the beautiful, tall and expansive trees I became increasingly aware of the term, inner strength. Their strong branches bear the weight of soaking rains and heavy snow fall.  But, year after year, still offering their shade and refuge to weary travelers. Their own  strength is ever giving.  The same is true for each one of us.  Our shoulders, hearts and minds become weak from burdens of all kinds, but our own inner strength only grows deeper to handle whatever comes next into our lives.  Cherish and protect that strength that lies within you, as it will be your wellspring to draw from when you need it most, throughout your lifetime.
