Almost one week ago, on Christmas Eve, I traveled to visit my oldest son for Christmas.  After landing at Seattle’s International Airport, I was immediately struck by people from all over the world, greeting family and friends with embraces of happiness and love. Language has no barrier when it comes to expressing this beautiful emotion.  Right away, I felt like I was in a scene from one of my favorite holiday movies, Love ActuallyThe days that followed went much too quickly as my son and I spent wonderful days together that will become warm, forever memories.  I also saw something else this Christmas. The love we give to others is also a gift wrapped in the sparkling colors of  Hope.  It is my fondest wish that Love and Hope will fill your heart and your days in 2014, and may we scatter them everywhere.

Happy New Year!
