At this stage in my life I feel certain my “bucket” has reached overflowing many times, and the root is always the same, kindness.  I am sure I share this beautiful and grateful feeling with so many of you.  And, I say this humbly as I recall the loving acts of service, words of encouragement and prayers for me and my family over many years, just in living life itself. Our buckets become full not only when we receive, but when we give as well. When we reach out to others on a daily basis in small or big ways, our own buckets also fill one drop at a time. As we all have the innate desire to be loved, sometimes even a warm smile can make all the difference to someone else. It is my wish that we become aware of our sincere, small acts of kindness every day. In an exceptional quote by  Sir Winston Churchill he penned, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
