I am reflective this week, as I am approaching another birthday!  For me, it is not the number that represents my age, but the collective memories I cherish of what I hold most dear.  And, I would guess I speak on behalf of many of us. Recently listening to two of my favorite artists, Neil Diamond and Alan Jackson, I have chosen to share within this post some of their combined lyrics.  Their voices and these lyrics have spoken generously to my heart.

“Remember, is a place from long ago and filled with everything we know. Life is just a memory…close your eyes and you will see.  Remember, when we gave our hearts…lived and learned.  Old ones die and new ones born…life was changed and rearranged.  Remember, age is just a stepping stone to where we are and where we’ve been.”
