The continual battle against breast cancer is a cause very close to my heart. Yesterday in San Francisco, I was blessed to see it’s finest hours at the Avon 39 Walk for Breast Cancer. Each walker participating was there for someone they love, the loss of someone they loved dearly or for themselves. Usually, participating as a walker, I chose this year to volunteer at the end of the two day walk. Cheering those weary and yet, smiling walkers over the finish line yesterday afternoon, proved to be one of the beautiful highlights of my life. As many collapsed with sheer exhaustion in my arms, I felt their emotions, elation, gratitude and even caught their tears. I had truly been the recipient of their goodness, and will forever hold those sacred moments in my heart.  Where many gather in the name of goodness, much is given and received.
